THE PROMISE I MADE

It was Sunday, we had finished having a fun lunch with Vonna’s 3 children. She asked her children to leave us alone, stating, “I need to talk to her.”

Vonna laid quietly in her hospital bed that was sitting in her living room. The quiet was uncomfortable for me as my mind questioned, have I done something that has upset her?

Eventually, she turned on her side took my hand in her cold hand, then said “You promise me if anyone else you know gets this “shit”, you will tell them what you have learned from working with me.” I assured her I would do my best to tell what I knew.

Now, it is almost 5 years, since I made that promise. I have told the story, but few have listened. You see Vonna developed metastatic cancer long before, my associates my own age were having cancer. I became frustrated by trying to help others who would not listen. I thought it such a waste to give your life away and not even try to get better.

I have to say that Vonna knew what she was doing. She was finished here on earth, and I did not know all about her mental/emotional struggles until the last two weeks of her life. I did not know that she had quit taking what had truly helped her. On Saturday night, before I made this promise, she told me she wanted to live.

During her illness, I had called up on every healer, health care worker and alternative practitioner I could find. I learned things about her cancer from an intuitive that used dowsing, her cancer originated from parasites, viruses and harboring emotions.

Even though she had told me she could not start over 2 weeks before; that Saturday night, she told me she wanted to live!

I went immediately to Louisville to get what would help her start the healing process. We had achieved in 24 hours, the reduction of a throat tumor, that had kept her from eating. She was able to have a sandwich with her 3 grown children on that Sunday, one last time!!!
